Guided Bush Walks
Native plants regenerate through successive stages, building a thriving ecosystem over time. With a focus on targeted native planting, wildling control, fertilization, structured pest management, we are cultivating an ecosystem rich in indigenous diversity. Among the native species we have reintroduced to the forest and around the building platforms are harakeke (flax), mānuka, kānuka, native grasses, cabbage trees, coastal tree daisies, whitey wood, karamū, karo (pittosporum), broadway mint, rimu, kahikatea, kauri, taraire, and tōtara.
With a focus of creating a safe habitat for native species, like the Tui, Kereru and Piwakawaka.
